Why We Built Botano
Cetin's Story
Before Botano, Cetin built a successful career in consumer goods, bringing healthy snacks and delicious ingredients from around the world to the US. Over time, his focus shifted toward something more fundamental: long-term health.
After stepping into his family's healthcare business, he began his own longevity journey with comprehensive bloodwork and a personalized supplement plan. What he found was chaos. Dozens of bottles. Confusing protocols. Constant decisions.
Traveling with supplements became its own burden. The system meant to support his health was adding friction to his life instead. He built the solution he couldn't find: everything your body needs, clean and simple.
That idea became Botano.
Ellina's Story
Ellina came into Botano through a different door: creativity and consciousness.
As a brand strategist and creator, she developed Botano's first mindfulness tools, a journal and card deck designed to bring people back to themselves. Wellbeing starts within.
Cetin's experience resonated with her. In her 30s, equally committed to strong biomarkers and optimal health, she approached wellness through lifestyle, intuition, and self-experimentation. She had already created her own supplement blends. She felt the friction too.
Botano became the intersection of both worlds: science and self-awareness, optimization and ritual, function and feeling. Ellina shaped the brand around a cultural shift she was already living: anti-consumerism, intentional choices, buying less but better.
